Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1. Do I have to purchase the digital image if I just want a print?
Answer: Yes. If you want a print made, you need to purchase the image of appropriate size, and then printing costs apply. This is because our photographers make their living from the sale of images, but very little profit margin is added to printing.
Question 2. I was photographed, but I can't find any picture of me.
Answer: To preserve the dignity of the people we photograph, images containing blinking people or offensive content are removed at the the proofs creation stage. If you would like further coverage, consider a portrait package or professional Events coverage.
Question 3. I don't want my picture on the internet. Can it be removed?
Answer: Yes, if you do not want your image advertised, email us with the proof name (right-click and select 'save-as' to get the proof name) and we'll remove it immediately. All persons photographed are considered to have consented to the publish and sale of their image when agreeing to be photographed.
Question 4. How do I specify the images that I want to purchase?
Answer: Right-click on the proof you are interested in and select 'Save-as'. Note the image name and email to seanj@scenejuice.com with the image name, size and number required.
Question 5. Can I be invoiced?
Answer: Invoicing is possible for trading businesses, but personal images must be paid for at the time of purchasing. Tax receipts are issued.
Question 6. Can I print the images myself?
Answer: Yes, you can print the purchased images on your home printer, or at a lab, such as BigW, Rabbit Photo, etc. Be sure to purchase an image of suitable size for your needs (larger images can be printed smaller, if required).
Question 7. Do you keep the image archived? Can I buy them later?
Answer: Events photos are not archived as rigorously as commissioned portraits and commercial images, but it is likely your event is still available after removal from this website - please email us if you still require images.
